A new luxury high rise apartment is planned for stadium land in east downtown Houston. City View Terrace will be a 12 story, 336-unit luxury high rise apartment that will have ground-floor retail space. It is the developers hope that this property will become catalyst for new development in EaDo.
City View Terrace will be located on a city block near the northeast intersection of Interstate 45 and Highway 59 and within close proximity to the Toyota Center, BBVA Compass Stadium and Minute Maid Park. The building will have five floors of parking and seven floors of residential units above. Floor plans include one, two, and three bedrooms ranging in price from $1,750 to $2,750 with unit sizes from 700 to 1,200 square feet.
The property will also include 45,000 square feet of retail and restaurants space on the ground floor. Residential high end amenities will include a resort-style swimming pool, rooftop terrace, fitness center and a spa and sauna.
This project is estimated to break ground this April with an anticipated completion for 2017. City View Terrace is a 60 million dollar join venture between Abdul Dawood and Dan Nip. It is anticipated to generate over 700 jobs for Houston making a positive and pioneering step toward the revitalization of East Downtown Houston.
